Turn standard 3-inch Schedule 40 PVC pipe into a convenient gravity-fed chicken feeder. A wide feeding bowl, controlled feed opening and raised anti-spill ledge help keep more feed inside the feeder, where it belongs, with no motors or moving parts.

HOW IT WORKS

Dry feed travels down the PVC pipe and exits through the controlled opening above the bowl. As the chickens eat, more feed falls into the bowl. When the feed reaches the bottom of the pipe, gravity naturally stops the flow.

Unlike a basic open pipe or elbow, the surrounding bowl gives your flock comfortable access while the raised inner ledge makes it harder to throw feed over the edge.

SIZE AND COMPATIBILITY

• Fits nominal 3-inch Schedule 40 PVC
• Required pipe outside diameter: approximately 3.5 in / 88.9 mm
• Bowl diameter: approximately 5.9 in / 150 mm
• Feeder height without pipe: approximately 2.4 in / 61 mm

IMPORTANT: "Three-inch PVC" is a nominal pipe size. Please measure the outside diameter of your pipe before ordering. Compatible pipe measures approximately 3.5 inches across the outside.

INSTALLATION

1. Slide the feeder collar over the bottom of a vertical 3-inch Schedule 40 PVC pipe.
2. Let the pipe rest at the feeder's built-in stopping height.
3. Secure the feeder through the optional mounting holes if needed.
4. Mount or support the PVC pipe vertically.
5. Fill the pipe with dry poultry feed.

Use short, blunt-ended retaining screws that don't protrude into the feed path.

WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE

Your selected number of 3-inch PVC gravity-feed anti-spill bowls. PVC pipe, mounting hardware, external pipe supports and poultry feed are not included.

MATERIAL

Each feeder is 3D printed in durable PETG, which offers better moisture and temperature resistance than ordinary PLA, making it a practical material for covered coop environments. Subtle layer lines and minor surface variations are normal for a 3D-printed product.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• Hand-wash with mild soap and warm water
• Do not place in a dishwasher
• Dry completely before adding feed
• Keep sheltered from persistent rain when possible
• Inspect periodically for cracks, sharp edges or excessive wear
• Discontinue use and replace the feeder if damaged

SAFETY AND USE INFORMATION

For dry poultry feed only. This product is not a waterer. It does not hold or regulate a water level and is not intended for pressurized plumbing. The drainage holes intentionally let incidental water escape.

Secure the PVC hopper so it can't tip or fall onto an animal. Choose an installation height that lets birds eat comfortably without standing inside the bowl. Results vary with bird size, feed type, installation height and flock behavior. No feeder can eliminate every spilled pellet, but this design is intended to improve feed containment compared with an open pipe or shallow tray.
